Session briefs

When a voice call ends, its brief is built: a structured summary of what was said. Read it with:

curl -s "$NEWEYES_API_BASE/v1/sessions/$SESSION_ID/brief" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NEWEYES_USER_TOKEN"
{
"object": "brief",
"session_id": "5e7a…",
"status": "completed",
"summary": "Agreed on the kitchen layout; tiles still open.",
"topics": [
{
"title": "Kitchen layout",
"conclusion": "Keep the sink under the window.",
"details": ["The island stays 90 cm from the counter."],
"actions": ["Send the revised plan."],
"open_questions": ["Which tile finish?"]
}
],
"action_items": [{ "task": "Send the revised plan", "owner": "Sam", "due": "Friday", "status": null }],
"speakers": ["Sam", "Alex"],
"visuals": [{ "url": "https://…", "caption": "Current kitchen", "captured_at": "2026-10-19T08:20:00Z", "topic_title": "Kitchen layout" }],
"created_at": "2026-10-19T08:31:00Z"
}
statusMeaning
noneThe session has no brief: it is not a voice session, or its call has not ended.
runningThe call ended and its brief is being built. Read it again shortly.
completedThe brief is ready.
transcript_onlyThe call was too short for a brief; its transcript is in the message list.
failedThe brief could not be built.

A session's brief_status (on GET /v1/sessions/{session_id}) tells, without reading the brief, whether one is running or completed.

visuals are images the user showed during the call; each url is a download link that expires.
